Human Capital

Excerpt from Professor Dr Ibrahim Abu Shah, UiTM's vice-chansellor's introductory remarks in Pearls of Wisdom ... in conjunction with UiTM's 50th. anniversary in 2006

"Our graduates can be compared to PEARLS - a precious commodity to be treasured, admired and appreciated by all. In this regard, they are also human capital of distinction, capable of attaining the highest standards of excellence in their personal development and thereby contributing to national development."

myremarks:
... to be a pearl ... what does it take? First, have a pure heart, one that has lots of love to give. Next, learn, learn and learn ... life itself is full of valuable lesson ... if only one see, hear and observe ...

Betul tu Ikin... hayatilah lirik lagi UiTM diHATIku ... betapa besarnya tanggungjawab graduan serta bakal graduan UiTM terhadap agama, bangsa dan negara. Petikan lirik lagu tu skit "... Kami berikrar akan berjasa untuk mencapai cita... demi bangsa. Watikah yang ku miliki kan ku semat di hati. Janjiku pada pertiwi untuk menabur bakti. Ku sempurnakan seikhlas hati ...."
